[ 2023-02-07 Status changed: New → Resolved. ]
Resolved by the application of P1467R9. It's now clear that lerp should have "sufficient additional overloads".
[ 2019-07 Issue Prioritization ]
Priority to 2 after discussion on the reflector.
It seems that lerp can't give a sensible answer for integer inputs. It's new machinery, not the legacy C stuff extended with extra overloads.
I would prefer to fix this by explicitly annotating the functions that are supposed to get additional overloads because we keep getting this wrong, but we could also exempt lerp in [cmath.syn] p2.History | |||
