6.1 [basic.pre] paragraph 10, while not incorrect, does not allow for linkage of operators and conversion functions. It says:
An identifier used in more than one translation unit can potentially refer to the same entity in these translation units depending on the linkage (6.7 [basic.link]) of the identifier specified in each translation unit.
